U.S. Virgin Islands The U.S. Virgin Islands Commemorates the XVIII Olympic Winter Games of 1998 in Nagano, Japan by Issuing a special Limited Edition License Plate to Benefit Athletes of the Virgin Islands Olympic Team This is the second in a series of OFFICIAL, Legal Olympic license plates, issued by the Government of the Virgin Islands, celebrating the XVIII Olympic Winter Games in Nagano, Japan. The Virgin Islands Olympic Team, in cooperation with both the Virgin Islands Motor Vehicle Bureau and Motor Vehicle License Systems, official Team Sponsor, is authorized to produce only 999 limited edition numbered plate(s) beginning with number 1 and ending with number 999. Personalized plate(s) are also available. Motor Vehicle License Systems is proud to offer this beautiful license plate for $40.00 plus $3.00 for shipping and handling. Plate numbers will be assigned on a first come, first served basis or by priority number of the previous issue. Each number will be issued only once. No duplicate numbers will be issued. All proceeds will directly benefit the Virgin Islands Olympic Team as it prepares for the Winter Olympic Games in Nagano, Japan in 1998.
